Conservation International employs people in offices around the globe, and has invested in network infrastructure that provides quality network access for even the remotest office locations.

When on the Conservation International network, employees have access to a corporate intranet which provides a central library for human resources information, policies and procedures, and other internal documents. In the past, however, employees could not access this critical resource from home or from locations in the field.

Cluestream was retained by Conservation International to develop a remote authentication system for the intranet that integrated with Conservation International's newly deployed Microsoft Active Directory infrastructure.

Concurrently, Cluestream was asked to develop a personalized bulletin board feature for the intranet home page. Since many Conservation International employees are connected by LAN or broadband, and use the intranet as their browser home page, this project required high performance engineering.

Both new Intranet features were released in January of 2003 and have been welcomed by Conservation International users.
