We have established a set of guiding principles which we believe encourage us to always conduct our business in a socially responsible manner:

- Encourage development customers to release software byproducts under a Free Software license
- Show equal respect to people of all genders, cultures, and religions.
- Respect all customer staff equally, regardless of their position or seniority.
- Select projects which will empower and uplift individuals in need.
- Perform pro bono work within the community.
- Participate in the democratic process.
- Use electronic media instead of paper whenever possible.
- Use electronic communications instead of travel whenever possible.
- Encourage resources to work from home or near home, rather than commuting.
- Select projects which will benefit biodiversity conservation, sustainable energy resources, and other important environmental initiatives.
